Chris Jackson is General Manager, Customer Experience for Transurban – one of the world’s largest toll road operators. In Australia, the Company has over five million customers and manages 16 roads across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Chris is responsible for the Customer Experience, Digital, Marketing (including products and brand), Channel Management, and Customer Data, Insights & Reporting teams. He is also accountable for the Key Accounts team, which relationship manages Transurban’s 300 largest customers.
Chris has more than 20 years' experience in communication, corporate affairs, branding, marketing and digital. Over the past 10 years, his career focus has shifted to leading multi-disciplinary teams with a mandate to deliver improved customer experience. Chris joined Transurban four years ago, and prior to this worked at Insurance Australia Group for 16 years. Other experience includes utilities and the government sector. He began his career as a journalist and holds a B.A. in Journalism.
