Sheryl had more than 33 years experience in the financial services industry and with Macquarie Bank. Sheryl has beenwas an Executive Director with Macquarie Group for 10 years, is currentlymost recently as Head of the Macquarie Group Queensland Office Head and also holds the role of as Head of Service and Operations for the Banking and Financial Services group of Macquarie.

Sheryl currently serves on the Board of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. Until recently she as on theBoard of Lifeline Australia and Chair of Lifeline Australia’s Service Committee. She is also on the Advisory Panel for Tupicoffs Independent Financial Planners, a Director of Orange Ink and is an Executive Coach for Foresight’s Global Coaching. involved with MS Research and the Big Issue. Previously Sheryl was a longstanding member of the Macquarie Group Foundation Board for 11 years and a Non- Executive Director of the Schizophrenia Research Institute.

Sherylis a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and holds aCertificate in Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA). She is also undertaking an Executive Graduate Certificate in Business (Leadership through Coaching and Mentoring)through QUT.

Sheryl is married to Andrew and has 2 adult children. She’spassionate about wellbeing and mental health, interested in the future of work, the aging population and loves spending time cooking for family and friends, exercising, hiking, travelling, playing piano and loving life.
