Biography

Jo commenced with The Westpac Groups in June 2015 In the Wealth division as Head of Advisor Distribution managing a sales team, with responsible for $130 billion in Funds under administration. In 2017 Jo moved into the Retail bank, managing 100 branches in Regional NSW, with 800 staff. In October 2020, Jo transitioned into the role of National General Manager Customer Care, managing 8 call centres across Australia with 2300 people servicing Westpac Customers 24hrs a day.

Jo joined the Westpac group with over 25 years’ experience within the Fast Moving Consumer Industry managing large sales teams and international Mega accounts as well a business model distributing through intermediaries, such as dealer group operating in the Petrol and Convenience segment under brands like BP, 7 / Eleven and Caltex.

More recently Jo spent 4 years at Coca-Cola Amatil (Australia) as the General Manager of Immediate Consumption & Convenience, responsible for the Convenience and Petrol, Quick Service Restaurant, Speciality Retail, and Travel, Transit and Entertainment businesses with a turnover of around $1.5b, managing a team of 70. Jo was brought into Amatil in 2012 as General Manager Special Projects. In this role Jo focused on strategic acquisitions and partnerships, where she worked with the CCA Executive team and the CCA board on the strategic direction of the business and new growth opportunities.

Prior to joining Coca-Cola Amatil, Jo was the Sales Director at Ferrero Australia / New Zealand. During her 4 years at Ferrero, Jo spent time in European and the US market understanding global retailing and consumer trends. This was preceded by 6 years at Campbell Arnott’s, where Jo held senior leadership roles such as Sales Director, and Strategic Director Asia Pacific.

Jo started her full time career at Cadbury Schweppes where she spent 8 years managed a variety of major customers after she discovered FMCG as a passion while working at Woolworths Supermarkets part time through school and university where she was a Service Supervisor for 8 years.

Jo has a passion for working in businesses that delivering a great customer experience, leading large and energetic teams, and creating high performing team, all of which she has experienced throughout her career to date.

Jo lives in Hunters Hill with her husband.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Applied Science Consumer Science, RG 146 Compliant, GAICD
